Ducati launched Scrambler Café Racer in India

The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer for India is priced at Rs 9,32,000 ex-showroom (India). The Café Racer is the second Scrambler to join the Ducati family this year after the Desert Sled.

The motorcycle is powered by the air and oil-cooled EURO 4-compliant 803 cc twin-cylinder engine. The Desmodue engine delivers 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and a torque of 67 Nm at 5,750 rpm and comes with black-trimmed covers and machined cooling fins. Ducati claims that the Café Racer is more of a new model rather than just an extension of the Scrambler Icon, but both the motorcycles share many parts, including the heart.

This version features rear-view mirror mounted aluminium clip-on handlebars, Termignoni exhaust with dual tailpipes, black anodized aluminium cover and a dedicated seat featuring a cover for the passenger section. aprat from all that New to the Café Racer are 17-inch wheels, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres, clip-on handlebar, radially mounted front master cylinder, and suspension. The last part has been beefed up with stiffer springs for sportier ride and handling. Seat height, at 805mm, is 15mm more than the Icon’s, albeit still very reasonable for even modestly proportioned Indians.

The 2017 Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer sports a Tubular steel Trellis frame with an upside down Kayaba 41 mm fork handling suspension duties up front while the rear end uses a Kayaba mono shock with fully adjustable preload.The Scrambler Cafe Racer combines the design language of Ducati’s Scrambler lineup and a sporty riding position. The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer sports rearview mirror-mounted aluminium clip-on handlebars, dual tailpipe Termignoni exhaust, black anodized aluminium cover and a cafe-racer seat featuring a cover for the passenger.

what sets the motorcycle apart are the styling bits and the accessories available to the Café Racer. There are new bar-end mirrors, a seat cowl, number plate, shorter front fender, and a headlight that’s been lowered slightly. The colour is called “Black Coffee” and both the logo and tank badges are new. The Scrambler Café Racer has a dedicated line of accessories and apparel. The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer is available in a Black Coffee colour with black frame and gold wheels across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad & Kochi.
